WHY THE FUND

What the Save CTFs Fund is for

  • Our research argues that AI one-shots most Jeopardy challenges, so a Jeopardy leaderboard increasingly measures token budget rather than skill.
  • In 2026, we are being much more selective about sponsoring Jeopardy CTFs, and funding new ideas where the leaderboard still means something.
  • The fix is not “ban AI”: we think challenges should allow more granular measurement of how a solution performs compared to other teams.
